Introducing the MakingBass Site

Just another musician's site on the Internet.
I put up my first music-focused site six years with Radius80. It's still there (to be revamped soon), but it ended up being too focused on bass stuff. The intent was, and still is, for Radius80 to be a place to publish original metal tunes based on an '80s metal feel but with modern sensibilities as well as mashup covers of some of the lesser-known metal gems of the era. It's getting a new lease on life soon with the release of an original song called, "F.U.A.I."
But I still wanted to publish and talk about my more bass-focused material, from my experimental stuff to my really-not-metal, jazz-inspired tunes. I also wanted a place to house other big projects I'm involved with, like 1-900 and 16-BITOCRACY, as well as smaller, side-projects that may pop up. I needed a hub for my musical wheel. Enter MakingBass.
I created the MakingBass YouTube channel 1.5 years ago to do exactly that. However, keeping up with a weekly video cadence while working on other, big music and non-music projects proved challenging. I'll still be publishing videos there, but I'm not exactly sure the types of videos that will go there.
If you love bass, if you love metal, if you love the art of music, I hope you'll join me.

PS I've imported many of the posts from the Radius80 blog over to this one. It's a better place for them.
